The other changes are insignificant for meīecause I liked the original Fit Pack to begin with, the other changes weren’t that important to me. This is the pocket that I use the most on the bag so I am very happy with the upgrade. The pocket opens up wider so it is easier to access the pocket than before. The awesome quick access pocket got even better on the Fit Pack 2. The Quick Access pocket has a wider opening for even better access The straps have a new design so they fit better. The Fit Pack 2 uses a soft mesh material which is not as harsh on the skin. It was the hard mesh kind of material that was very irritating on the skin around the neck and shoulders. The only issue I had with the original Fit Pack was the mesh material used for the padding on the straps and back area. The straps and back padding got a major upgrade! The Aer Fit Pack 2 Review The popular Aer Fit Pack is now re-born as the Aer Fit Pack 2 Rucker 25 is similarly priced to Aer Duffel Pack 3 but definitely lacks meaningful external organization, external water bottle pockets and quick access to your laptop. Goruck Rucker 25L - if you want a gym bag that can be abused while also offering ease of clamshell design Goruck is an excellent choice. Nothing noteworthy but these are tried and true options which have not failed me on any of the bags I used.Īll materials feel great and complement each other well to create a capable, reliable bag that I don’t need to be gentle with. The plastic hardware is Duraflex® which is pretty standard and seen on most of the packs on the market. Be prepared that the center zip is a bit stiff out of the box, needs a bit of time to break-in. Industry-leading YKK® zippers are used across the board and feel great in daily use. The body of the Duffel Pack 3 is made out of a 1680D Cordura® ballistic nylon exterior which feels silky smooth to the touch, offers extreme abrasion resistance as well as water resistance so you can rest assured that your stuff is safe from anything nature throws at you. ![]() It was not an issue for me, but for some people, it’s a serious problem.Īlso, empty or filled to the brim - the pack retains its shape which to me is a plus since I am not a fan of the saggy look of the empty bags :) Unfortunately for some, the shape of the pack is a bit tapered at the bottom which means it won’t stand on its own.
